1. The phrase ἐσχάτη ὥρα ἐστίν contains two nominatives.
2. It makes sense to translate ὅτι using the English "that" in this sentence.
3. ἔρχεται and ἐσχάτη share the same lexical form.
4. This passage contains a Type II conditional statement, i.e., a conditional statement wherein the speaker assumes the protasis is contrary to fact.
Let no one, when he is tested, say ὅτι Ἀπὸ θεοῦ πειράζομαι· ὁ γὰρ θεὸς ἀπείραστός ἐστιν κακῶν, πειράζει δὲ αὐτὸς οὐδένα. ἕκαστος δὲ πειράζεται ὑπὸ τῆς ἰδίας ἐπιθυμίας.
5. ὅτι should be translated "that" in this passage.
6. If ἀπείραστος is a verbal adjective meaning, "untested," this passage tells us God is untested of or from evil things.
7. In this passage, αὐτός means "same."
8. The subject of πειράζεται is ἕκαστος.
